Job summary

Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is seeking a energetic Server to create memorable dining experiences for guests. You will greet guests warmly, suggest menu items, take accurate orders and coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely, high-quality service.

This role requires excellent communication, a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and the ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations and answering any questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination and exceptional service delivery.
