Job summary

San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter- Altitude Sky Lounge seeks an experienced Cocktail Server for a part-time role on the rooftop venue in San Diego. Shifts start as early as 4pm and run until 2am, with Baseball season and events possible earlier starts.

Must work a minimum of 3 shifts weekly, including Wednesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility on Fridays and Saturdays. Pay is $19.00 per hour, overtime eligible.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence and friendly demeanor expected.
• Ability to upsell and communicate knowledge of menu items clearly.
• Past cocktail serving in a fast-paced venue preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely, friendly manner.
• Walk the bar during the shift to take and deliver beverage and food orders.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and upsell when possible.
• Itemize bills accurately and process payments correctly.
• Coordinate with bartenders and ambassadors to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist in bar area and restock service items as needed.
• Maintain polished appearance and positive attitude in line with Altitude Sky Lounge policies.
