Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Cleveland is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to deliver memorable dining experiences from starter to dessert. You will welcome guests, suggest menu items, run service smoothly, and maintain a clean, stocked workstation in a fast-paced hotel restaurant.

You should enjoy working with people, have strong communication skills, be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and comply with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• The strength to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and bend/kneel as needed.
• Reading, writing and basic maths skills are required.
• Must be able to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Comply with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol; fluent in the local language.

Responsibilities

• Striving to make every meal memorable by delivering high standards and signature service.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation and support kitchen duties as needed.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen tasks when required by the team.
• Monitor safety and report unsafe equipment or low supplies to supervisor.
• Take on ad-hoc duties to keep service running smoothly.
