Job summary

Omni Las Colinas in Irving, TX seeks friendly servers to deliver exceptional service across its restaurants, pool and outlets. You will greet guests, take orders, discuss menu and drink options, and coordinate with chefs and bartenders to meet dietary needs while maintaining station cleanliness.

The role requires at least 1 year of serving experience, TABC/ Food Handler certification, knowledge of wine/beer, and strong cash handling. Flexible shifts including weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
• Must be TABC certified or able to obtain TABC permit and Food Handler’s permit.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer; experience selling and presenting cocktails.
• Previous cash-handling experience required.
• Clear and pleasant English communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide superior service across all Omni Las Colinas outlets.
• Take orders, answer questions, and suggest menu items and specials.
• Coordinate with culinary and beverage teams on meal requirements and dietary needs.
• Record transactions in MICROS and adhere to cash-handling standards.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course or beverage.
• Present accurate checks and process payments; maintain cleanliness of stations and dining areas.
• Set up and break down stations; support other outlets as needed.
• Ensure service standards and guest safety, including overserving policies.
