Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly server to provide food and beverage service with orders taken accurately and delivered promptly. You will greet guests, explain specials, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel dining environment.

The role requires knowledge of liquor regulations, food safety, and a polite, professional manner. Shift flexibility is common in this 24/7 operation; must maintain cleanliness, handle POS, and collaborate with team to deliver

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Hold a valid TABC license.
• Basic knowledge of guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Basic English comprehension for inquiries.
• Ability to follow product labeling instructions.
• Ability to memorize and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and explain specials.
• Check station setup for cleanliness and readiness.
• Record and repeat guest orders for accuracy.
• Enter orders into the POS to inform kitchen staff.
• Deliver orders with beverages and condiments to guests.
• Ensure compliance with liquor regulations for minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages and upsell desserts or specialty coffees.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables and performing side work.
• Perform cleaning duties and maintain health standards.
