Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Banquet Server for Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle, WA. This temporary role supports event service from setup to breakdown, delivering food and beverage to banquet guests with professionalism and courtesy.

Responsibilities include answering guest questions, bussing and resetting tables, coordinating with event staff, and ensuring items are presented properly and at the correct temperature.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol and have Safe Server certification.
• 1–3 years of banquet service experience required.
• Hotel/resort banquet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves guests food and drinks during events as required.
• Be able to answer questions related to buffet or menu.
• Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed.
• Assists with event room set-up (set tablecloths, dishes, silverware as needed).
• Checks all china, glassware, silverware, and linen items needed for the event.
• Be aware of all upcoming groups and major conventions.
• Reads all assigned banquet menus and asks if items are unclear.
• Ensures that food is served at the appropriate temperature, and that the entrée is placed properly on table.
