Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a server to delight guests by exceeding expectations and providing courteous, timely service. You will greet guests, present recommendations, take orders, and process payments using POS or QR codes in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and strong work ethic, with a requirement to be mobile for several hours and lift up to 20 pounds. Evening and weekend shifts are expected.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment.
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested.
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule.
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system.
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable.
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS.
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience.
