Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a server to delight guests by providing food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner. You will greet guests, explain the menu, take orders, serve, and handle payments while maintaining a clean, safe area and a positive, flexible attitude.

The role requires mobility for several hours, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends in a dynamic dining room environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
