Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking an enthusiastic server to delight guests by taking accurate orders, suggesting menu items, and delivering food and drinks with care. You will work within the Applebee's TEAM system, pre-bus tables, and ensure a clean, welcoming area for guests.

Ideal candidates excel in customer service, thrive in fast-paced settings, and are flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good attitude toward teamwork.
Strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative.
Confident, outgoing demeanor.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds.
Be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment.
Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested.
Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule.
Serve food and beverages using the Applebee's TEAM delivery system.
Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable.
Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS.
Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience.
