Job summary

The General Public is seeking a friendly server to join our team in the United States. You will greet guests, present menus, and take orders for food and drinks, delivering them promptly while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

You should provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting, handle money accurately with a POS, and work well with bussers and kitchen staff. High school diploma required; experience preferred.

• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a POS system.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer services
• Greet customers and present menus
• Make suggestions based on their preferences
• Take and serve food/drinks orders.
• Up-sell when appropriate
• Arrange table settings
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
