Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals in a fast, courteous manner within our dining facilities. You will explain menu items, suggest options, and ensure accurate billing while maintaining a high standard of service.

You will also assist coworkers, monitor safety, stock service areas, and help keep the dining area clean for the next shift.

Qualifications

Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
Strong sanitation habits.
Mathematic skills.
Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.
Reading and writing work-related documents in English.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a polite, positive manner; takes beverage orders.
Answer questions about the menu and takes food orders; explains items and suggests menu options.
Submit food orders into kitchen; ensure correct billing procedures.
Serve guests their entrees in a friendly, efficient manner and maintain a pleasant dining experience.
Check on guests during meals and attend to their needs; deliver checks and process payments accurately.
Perform clean-up duties after each meal and set up for next service; stock service areas.
Report gratuities at shift end as required by Company policy and law; observe safety policies.
