Job summary

TGI Fridays is seeking a Host/ess to create a positive first impression with friendly service. You will greet Guests, seat them in the bar or dining area according to preference, and communicate promotions to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.

Ideal candidates will read menus confidently, articulate greetings and farewells clearly, and respond promptly to guest requests while maintaining Fridays Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry natural conversations with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
• Must be able to read menus.
• Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to Guests, and understand requests for assistance.
• Must be able to clearly communicate Guests’ needs to team members and managers.
• Must be able to hear well in a loud environment to answer calls and respond to requests.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
• Seat Guests in bar or dining area per their preference.
• Inform Guests of current promotions and service assignments.
• Answer incoming calls and provide service.
• Manage flow of Guests and provide accurate wait times when appropriate.
• Attend to special Guest needs and requests.
• Adhere to Fridays Service Standards.
• Be attentive to Guests’ needs throughout dining to ensure high-quality service.
