Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC seeks a restaurant team member to ensure guests enjoy a prompt, courteous dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals with attentiveness, while maintaining cleanliness and high service standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–6 months in food/beverage service, TIPs certification, and strong English communication. Join a hospitality-focused team in a beachside setting with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Vision to clearly see guest checks, printouts, and instructions in dim lighting.
• TIPs certified.
• Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items and balance trays.
• Read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders from restaurant guests and serve them.
• Stay attentive to customers throughout dining experience and meet service standards.
• Restock and clean during opening/closing side-work.
• Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to answer questions.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, wait-station, and service area.
• Document checks accurately and handle payments securely.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings for updates.
• Respond to inquiries with timely, knowledgeable information.
• Present a clean, professional appearance and friendly demeanour.
• Handle variety of customer service issues calmly and professionally.
