Valor Hospitality in Texas is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented food and beverage associate to provide prompt, courteous service and contribute to a memorable dining experience for guests.

You will learn menu items, assist with daily tasks, maintain clean tables and service areas, and work with a collaborative team to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer print outs, written instructions and to observe entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions.
• Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tables are cleaned and set in a timely manner, clearing dishes and maintaining a clean bussing station.
• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties as instructed.
• Memorize menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restaurant, wait-station, and kitchen service areas to satisfy health requirements.
• Attend all pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communications and knowledge of products and facility.
• Respond to guest inquiries and comments in person and on phone with timely, knowledgeable information.
