Job summary

European Wax Center is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Chicago to create exceptional guest experiences while achieving sales goals. You will educate guests on products and services, upsell retail items, and support management with daily administrative tasks.

The role requires 2+ years of customer service or sales experience, strong communication, and flexibility for varied hours, including weekends. Competitive hourly pay plus commissions and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years customer service or sales experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to perform external or internal events may be required.
• Ability to work flexible days and hours, including weekends/evenings.
• Maintain a professional appearance per company handbook.

Responsibilities

• Develop thorough understanding of European Wax Center services and products.
• Upsell and cross-sell retail products and waxing services.
• Educate guests on benefits and savings of Wax Passes.
• Administer check-ins/outs, processing payments, refunds and reservations.
• Inform guests of pre-booking benefits and how to use the app to reschedule.
• Organize the reservation book based on guest requests and associate availability.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the center.
• Maintain a safe, sparkling, clean and organized lobby and restrooms.
