Job summary

Michaels Stores in Goodyear, AZ seeks a Retail Associate to help customers shop, answer questions, and locate products. You will ensure a fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling, while supporting in-store merchandising and backroom tasks.

Responsibilities include assisting with BOPIS/SFS, truck unload, stock, planograms, and merchandise recovery. Cross-training in Custom Framing is available for growth and variety.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards
• Interact respectfully; promote company values and be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
