Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience, while supporting store operations.

You will operate the POS, handle cash and maintain safety and quality standards, collaborating with management on guest requests and vendor concerns.

This role requires flexible hours and physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, with duties including housekeeping and stocking to ensure products are available for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside, in cooler areas, etc.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately for paperwork.
• Supports onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the POS according to corporate standards; manage cash, lottery, tobacco as applicable.
• Complete store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and keep in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
