Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a friendly Guest Service Associate to greet guests and deliver an enjoyable shopping experience while supporting every store task.

You will operate the point of sale, maintain cash levels, replenish stock, keep the store clean, and assist with vendor check-ins, safety policies, and routine housekeeping. Flexibility for days, nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• You have the ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the POS pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
