Job summary

Boston Bouldering Project, LLC is seeking an Operations Specialist to welcome guests, support front desk operations, and help maintain a clean, safe gym environment in Somerville. The role involves assisting with programs, birthday parties, and events, and contributing to a warm, inclusive culture.

You will greet climbers, process purchases, ensure waivers are on file, and support groups and instruction as needed, all while upholding our values of inclusivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Customer service or cashiering experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excitement about working in a climbing, fitness, and community environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, orient climbers and explain space rules.
• Maintain cleanliness in the gym, lobby, and retail areas.
• Support safety through waivers, safety briefings, and incident reporting.
• Facilitate group check-ins and support events and classes.
• Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with teammates to uphold our values.
