Job summary

WaTiki Indoor Waterpark Resort in Rapid City, SD is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead operations, guest experience, and team development. You will oversee aquatics, admissions, retail, and guest services, while driving safety, financial results, and staff coaching.

The role requires 1–2+ years of leadership in hospitality, ability to manage schedules, respond to emergencies, and deliver exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, recreation, aquatics, entertainment, retail, or related guest-focused industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across aquatics, attractions, admissions, retail, arcade, and guest services.
• Maintain leadership presence during peak periods, weekends, holidays, events, and shift transitions.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure cleanliness, organization, and staffing readiness.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and ensure consistent opening, closing, and daily procedures.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training, retention, and disciplinary processes.
