Job summary

Lake Roosevelt Adventures is seeking a hotel operations manager to oversee daily guest services and floor operations at Paradise Inn. You will supervise staff, coordinate shifts, manage cash handling, and ensure safety and quality standards while collaborating with GMs and other departments.

The role requires strong leadership, 3+ years in management, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Occasional manual tasks and season-driven schedules are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or business degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a wide range of people.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to organize and coordinate multiple priorities; team leadership.
• Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, problem solve, and direct workers to ensure safe completion of daily tasks.
• Communicate with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, other departments, guests, HR and key stakeholders.
• Attend safety meetings; conduct daily pre-shift meetings and write shift reports.
• Ensure proper shift coverage and manage meal breaks.
• Address staffing conflicts and mitigate escalations.
• Oversee cash handling, asset security, key controls, and related policy compliance.
• Participate in pre- and post-season setups/teardown of hotel, F&B and Retail ops.
• Lead staff and oversee schedules, payroll, deposits, tips, and daily cash reports.
• Engage in guest issue resolution and maintain service standards.
• Perform other duties as directed.
