Job summary

Paradise Inn is seeking an experienced hotel Operations Supervisor to support assigned operations and floor management. You will oversee daily guest services, ensure safety and efficiency, and report to the Assistant General Manager, coordinating with multiple departments to maintain high standards of hospitality.

The role emphasizes staff leadership, shift planning, and problem-solving across front-of-house and back-of-house teams, with an emphasis on cash handling and adherence to company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s or Business Degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in related management.
• Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to work well as a team leader; ability to problem-solve.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looking for ways to assist customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, problem solve, and direct workers to ensure safe completion of tasks.
• Communicate with General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and other departments as needed.
• Attend and participate in management and safety meetings; write daily shift reports.
• Ensure proper shift coverage and manage meal breaks; address staffing conflicts.
• Maintain cash handling, asset security, and key controls per policy.
• Participate in pre-/post-season setups of hotel and F&B operations.
• Oversee records such as schedules, payroll, deposits, tips, and daily cash reports.
