Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
• Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone.
• Greet customers and treat all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy.
• Assists Customers in any way necessary – is register-trained, assists Customers with merchandise, and answers questions politely.
• Responds promptly to Customer Service calls and handles issues with courtesy and helpfully.
• Represents and supports the Ross brand at all times.
• Performs cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and merchandise presentation.
• Maintains professional appearance and adheres to dress code.
• Performs daily sizing and recovery to keep store neat and organized.
• Expedites newly received merchandise to the sales floor per guidelines.
• Understands Loss Prevention programs and merchandise protection standards.
• Safeguards confidential information and cash handling processes.
• Follows MOS policies and proper disposal notification protocols.
• Demonstrates urgency to maximize productivity and efficiency.
