Job summary

The Westin Monache in Mammoth Lakes, California seeks a Guest Experience Manager to oversee lobby operations, bell/valet, and concierge services, while ensuring top-notch guest satisfaction. You will address guest concerns and recoveries, with duties in the absence of the Front Office Manager.

Requirements include a four-year degree or 1–2 years of luxury hospitality experience, plus 2+ years in guest services. Marriott/Westin experience is a plus.

A little about this position

Guest Experience Manager oversees lobby operations and hotel amenities, such as bell/valet services, concierge and activities. Manages guest concerns, satisfaction and guest recovery ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Performs duties of the Front Office Manager in their absence.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or 1-2 years of previous experience in a luxury or full-service property setting.
• Minimum of two years' guest service or hospitality experience.
• Marriott/Westin experience beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1-year management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of business software emphasis on MS Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Professional demeanor, attitude and appearance.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, employees and management.
• Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines in a high-volume setting.
• Flexibility in scheduling based on guest demand and occupancy changes.
• Candidates should enjoy public interaction and display a positive attitude with a willingness to serve.

Pay: $70,304.00 - $73,732.50 per year
