Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Full-time Guest Services Associate in Charlotte, NC, serving the Atrium Health Pineville site. The role supports guests with directions, patient locations and hospital amenities, and requires courteous communication and teamwork to meet patient and family needs.

The position offers 40 hours per week, a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, and a pay range of $21.85–$32.80 per hour with comprehensive benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provides guests with assistance throughout the facility: directions, patient locations, location of hospital amenities.
• Communicates in a courteous and effective manner; ensures information is clear and understood; listens to complaints with a calm, positive demeanor.
• Takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service; responds promptly to patient, family and staff requests.
• Maintains knowledge of family member locations; facilitates communication between family and healthcare staff; assists in locating patients as they move through the system.
• Responds to emergency, crisis and disaster situations as directed.
• Collects data and documentation for improved customer service; assists leaders with recommendations to change policies.
• Records and submits documentation/statistical reports for services provided to patients and families; handles transportation vouchers and related items.
• Supports ongoing evaluation of the Guest Relations Program and quality management guidelines.
• Maintains communication with the Guest Relations Manager and requests assistance for resources as needed.
• Performs notary services for healthcare documents following state laws and regulations.
