Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Guest Relations professional to support guests, patients, and families throughout their hospital experience. You will guide visitors, answer questions, and coordinate referrals while maintaining a courteous, responsive presence across departments.

Required are a High School diploma and a preference for a Bachelor’s degree; healthcare or customer service experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and/or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with directions and locate patients, hospital amenities, and services.
• Communicate courteously and clearly; confirm guest understanding and address complaints calmly.
• Assist patients and families, identify needs, and coordinate referrals and services as appropriate.
• Supervise waiting areas and help families locate patients and communicate with healthcare staff.
• Respond to emergencies, crises and disasters as directed.
• Maintain training related to Service Excellence and Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Collect data and documentation to identify areas for improving customer service; assist leaders with policy improvements.
• Document and submit all required records and reports for services provided to patients and families.
