Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Mason, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and oversee operations during their shift. The role includes ensuring guest satisfaction and compliant service during all duties.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing shakes and ice cream, operating the POS and gas console, stocking, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and ensuring accurate cash handling to minimize errors.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Provide a high level of guest service and teamwork during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests with a warm, authentic hello, and ensure the store is ready for Guests at all times.
• Prepare DipSide items: shakes/malts, cups/cones of ice cream/yogurt, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS terminal and gas console, process transactions and manage cash and coupons.
• Stock shelves, maintain dip cabinet, restock coffee pots and ice dispensers, rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain store security and follow cash drop procedures; monitor activities to prevent theft.
• Keep the store and parking lot clean and safe; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Accurately complete time records and required documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Communicate clearly in English with customers.
