Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food and that the restaurant crew is well trained. The role requires standing on the line, supervising duties, and assisting with office tasks when needed.

You will contribute to crew development, monitor schedules, and help resolve incidents to ensure excellent guest service. Chipotle offers tuition assistance, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork and forms.
• Ability to speak, write, read and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, gloves, time/temperature, shelf lives, and Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Address customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor breaks, shift changes, line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house Crew.
• Assist with Crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties (banking, cash handling policies, office paperwork).
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained.
• Ensure sufficient supplies are available.
