Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food and superb guest service. This role keeps a clean, organized line, trains crew, and supports daily operations.

You will lead front-of-house teams, monitor shifts and breaks, and help develop future leaders. The position requires standing for long periods and a proactive approach to daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature monitoring, shelf life checks, and daily safety checklist.
• Help resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available.
