Job summary

Ballast Wax in Sandusky, OH is seeking a Guest Experience Manager to lead from the floor, coach the team, own the guest experience, and drive sales. You will step in as the leader-on-duty with real responsibility and a clear path to advancement.

In this in-person, full-time role you’ll open and close operations, ensure cleanliness and presentation, and support POS and guest profile management. Growth to Center Manager is encouraged within Ballast Wax.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a guest-facing role (beauty, spa, retail, or hospitality)
• Demonstrated leadership experience on shifts or team
• Ability to educate guests on products and services, not hard-sell
• Ability to coach colleagues with empathy and maintain standards
• Passion for beauty and wellness and desire to build a career in it
• Availability for evenings and weekends with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Lead guest experience on the floor with warmth and professionalism
• Educate guests on Wax Passes, products, and services to hit KPIs
• Coach and onboard team members; maintain service standards in the CM's absence
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, sanitation, POS accuracy, and daily admin tasks
