Job summary

Ballast Wax, an independent franchisee of European Wax Center, is seeking an Assistant Center Manager in Boardman, OH. You will lead from the floor, coach the team, own the guest experience, drive sales, and serve as leader on duty when it counts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a guest-facing role (beauty, spa, retail, hospitality, or similar).
• Led or trained teammates, or stepped up when needed.
• Able to educate guests about products/services without hard selling.
• Able to coach colleagues with empathy and maintain standards.
• Passion for beauty and wellness, with an interest in building a career in the space.
• Evenings/weekends availability and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for guest interactions to be warm, professional, and consistent.
• Lead by example to educate guests on Wax Passes, products, and services; drive KPIs.
• Coach and onboard team members; uphold service, professionalism, and accountability.
• Own opening/closing procedures and assist with daily admin, inventory, and POS.
