Job summary

AC Hotel Kansas City Plaza seeks a Front Office Supervisor to lead our front desk, guest services, and lobby experiences. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage daily front office logistics, and mentor team members to uphold our brand standards.

The role requires strong communication, supervisory experience, and knowledge of hotel operations and property management systems. You will greet guests, handle reservations, balance accounts, and collaborate with other departments for a premium guest

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business preferred.
• 1–3 years of hospitality or customer service experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, property management systems, and front office financial controls.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle guest relations effectively and lead a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates.
• Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
• Accept leadership responsibilities by modeling service techniques and developing others.
• Resolve guest complaints and concerns with effective solutions.
• Greet guests, register and assign rooms, and maintain lobby cleanliness and appearance.
• Balance accounts, audits, cash handling, and collections.
• Make and confirm reservations and promote marketing programs.
• Create action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.
