Job summary

Dr. Wilkinson’s Backyard Resort and Mineral Springs in Calistoga, CA is hiring for a Front Desk position. The role requires strong guest service, multitasking in a high-energy hotel setting, and adherence to SOPs across the front desk operations.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
• A minimum three years’ experience in a hotel front office position.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Develop in depth understanding of the property management system and POS functionality.
• Provide gracious and sincere customer service to all arriving and departing hotel guests and visitors.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and reviewing front office staff to maintain high morale and productivity.
• Answer telephones promptly and professionally, take reservations in person and over the phone, read and respond to hotel email.
• Check guests in and out, prepare group pre-registrations and key packets, and post charges.
