Job summary

Gary Farrell Winery is seeking an experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all tasting room operations. This hands-on role focuses on memorable guest experiences, sales growth, and keeping operations smooth in a scenic Healdsburg setting.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of supervisory winery experience, strong leadership, and comfort with POS/CRM systems. Weekend availability required; Health benefits and a robust benefits package accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• At least three years of supervisory or leadership experience in a winery tasting room or similar hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to coach and motivate teams to reach goals while maintaining a positive culture.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfort with POS/CRM systems and technology; Tock, C7, and RedChirp experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team: hire, train, schedule, coach, and support hospitality staff while creating a positive, high-performing environment.
• Drive the business: focus on wine sales, club growth, guest engagement, and monthly goals while tracking performance.
• Own front-of-house operations: manage scheduling, reservations, staffing, inventory, menus, cash handling, and procedures.
• Create exceptional guest experiences: set the standard for gracious hospitality and handle guest needs.
• Keep the team informed: lead meetings and ensure staff have necessary information and tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: work with DTC and other teams to grow visitation and customer relationships.
