Job summary

SSA Group at Wonders of Wildlife is seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead a store team, drive guest satisfaction, and support management. You will supervise staff, coach performance, manage cash, inventory, and merchandising while ensuring compliance with laws and delivering excellent guest service.

This role requires flexible hours, lifting up to 35 lbs, and a passion for teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for communicating with Retail Management, team and guests.
• Proven leadership with focus on team building and development.
• Problem solving and decision making with organizational skills.
• Ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• POS knowledge.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 10–35 lbs.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate staff to exceed customer and client expectations.
• Supervise and coach location team; onboard new members.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
• Oversee cash handling and inventory control programs.
• Meet sales goals and other performance metrics.
• Oversee floor operations and guest service.
