Job summary

The Sebastian Vail is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to join our guest services team on a full-time, year-round basis. You will manage check-in/check-out, assist guests with reservations, and provide information on the resort and local area.

Ideal candidates have prior hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional service. This on-site role offers full benefits and a dynamic team environment at a premier Vail resort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in hospitality or hotel setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with hotel management software and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and provide a warm farewell at departure.
• Manage check-in/check-out to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and cancellations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs.
• Maintain records of room availability, guest accounts and payments.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Provide information on amenities, local attractions, dining, and transportation.
• Keep front desk area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow hotel security protocols to ensure a safe environment.
