Job summary

The Fresh Market seeks a Guest Service Department Lead to support the Guest Service Department Manager in delivering an extraordinary guest experience. You will lead with care, coach your team, and ensure each department looks its best while stepping in as acting manager when needed.

Compensation includes a pay range of $15.00 - $16.27 per hour, with opportunities to model Impeccable Hospitality, manage schedules, and drive store profitability through teamwork and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, or hospitality.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience and meet performance goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Uphold cash office procedures, cash handling, keys, and safe.
• Act as a resource for team members and coach in the manager’s absence.
• Model impeccable hospitality by engaging guests and creating positive experiences.
• Help implement merchandising strategies and promotional plans to maximize sales.
• Analyze department financial and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with department leaders to drive store success.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively.
