Job summary

Five Iron Golf is seeking a Guest Services Expert (Head Golf Attendant) to assist the General Manager of Performance in overseeing golf operations at the location and to deliver exceptional service. This charismatic, people‑oriented role requires proficiency with our golf simulators, excellent hospitality skills, and the ability to connect with guests by name.

You will open the venue in mornings and weekends, maintain equipment, drive guest satisfaction, and work with the Director of Golf to hit

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for golf and hospitality.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, golf course, or sports management preferred.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Energetic, upbeat, and customer-focused with a positive attitude.
• Ability to think quickly and manage customer expectations.
• Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability mornings/afternoons including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager of Performance to carry out duties managing facility.
• Provide above-and-beyond service to Guests with a friendly face.
• Open the location in the mornings and weekends to facilitate golf operations.
• Proficiency in golf simulator technology; maintain simulators and QC processes.
• Build relationships within the community and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain and organize golf bag storage and all equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with products and work with the Director of Golf to hit sales targets.
• Build the membership community through events and local reciprocity efforts.
• Check in with Guests throughout bookings to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Follow health and safety regulations for food handling and alcohol service and verify drinking age.
