Job summary

Five Iron Golf is hiring a General Manager of Performance to steward the guest golf journey, lead a dynamic team, and drive revenue across golf, lessons, leagues, and memberships. You will ensure top-tier service, manage simulator operations, and coordinate with corporate leaders to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the National Director of Golf, you will build community relations, oversee staffing, and optimize P&L for golf-specific offerings while upholding health and safety

• Familiarity with swing analysis and launch monitor technology

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and train morning and afternoon golf staff, including Assistant General Manager of Performance.
• Manage P&L for golf-specific & retail offerings; achieve quarterly revenue targets.
• Liaise with Director of Instruction to manage coaches' availability and performance for lesson/fitting revenue goals.
• Set and manage above-and-beyond service standards for all golf staff.
• Evaluate golf staff performance to ensure daily business needs are met.
• Build community relationships, foster guest loyalty and repeat business.
• Proactively check in with guests during bookings to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain golf simulator technology and quality control; ensure simulators are maintained.
• Keep bag storage and demo clubs organized and inventory up-to-date.
• Know products and services; confidently cross-sell across offerings.
