Axiom Hotel in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to deliver friendly, detail-oriented service at the heart of our property. This role handles check-ins, check-outs, cash handling, concierge tasks and night audit duties, ensuring memorable guest experiences and smooth operations.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, at least two years in guest service, strong computer skills (Google Workspace) and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in customer/guest service and/or public contact.
• Must be computer literate, ideally with knowledge of Google Workspace.
• High comfort level with technology for day-to-day activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others and the public.
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with diverse situations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide gracious and sincere customer service to arriving and departing hotel guests.
• Follow hotel procedures for front-of-house operations (check-in/out, reservations, emails, posting charges).
• Coordinate with housekeeping and engineering; manage mail and deliveries.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly; resolve complaints with supervision when needed.
• Develop understanding of Opera PMS and other hotel systems.
• Advise guests on local attractions, restaurants and amenities.
• Maintain knowledge of current rates, services, and hours of hotel outlets.
• Attend mandatory meetings and be flexible with irregular hours.
