Job summary

Newport Restaurant Group in Newport, RI is seeking a Busser to contribute to a smooth dining experience by cleaning and setting tables, restocking plates, and sometimes serving. The position supports servers and helps maintain a welcoming, efficient dining room environment.

You should be positive and energetic, comfortable working in a fast-paced team setting, and willing to learn bussing as needed. Flexible scheduling and a focus on guest satisfaction are key.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Prior bussing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dining room tables to ensure standards are met and reset as needed.
• Prepare tables for each party by removing dirty dishes, sweeping, wiping seats and resetting.
• Assist servers in pre-bussing tables when needed.
• Transport clean dishware to ensure supplies are available during shift.
• Handle ice bins and trash as part of routine tasks.
