Job summary

The Longboard Sullivan’s Island is seeking a dynamic server to join our hospitality-driven team, delivering warm, attentive service and expert knowledge of our menu, like Caribbean-inspired cocktails and seafood-forward offerings.

In a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, you’ll create memorable guest experiences while collaborating with a vibrant service team and bar program, ensuring smooth shifts and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of serving experience in hospitality.
• Must be punctual, reliable and detail oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• Excellent communication about menu and allergens.

Responsibilities

• Direct the guest journey from arrival to payment to ensure a premium experience.
• Deliver fast, friendly service and make guests feel like regulars.
• Explain ingredients, sourcing, allergens, and menu items clearly.
• Handle opening/closing duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Proactively attend to guests' needs without interruption.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across guest and back-of-house areas.
• Communicate effectively with all team members and management.
• Navigate the POS for accurate ordering and billing.
