Job summary

The Longboard Sullivan’s Island is seeking a bartender to join our vibrant coastal dining concept. You’ll craft Caribbean-inspired drinks, guide guests through the Longboard experience, and deliver fast, friendly service during high-volume periods.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of bartending in a high-volume setting, strong beverage knowledge, and excellent communication. You’ll collaborate with a large team, maintain a clean station, and uphold health and safety standards while

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong beverage knowledge and a passion for the service industry.
• Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback.
• Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Curate the vibe: director of the guest’s journey from first sip to final bite.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and thoughtful service to make guests feel like regulars.
• Speak fluently on ingredients, sourcing, and preparation for guest guidance.
• Uphold our service playbook to maintain high quality and seamless experiences.
• Precision pouring with exact specifications for consistency.
• Represent Ballast standards in quality and presentation.
• Pour responsibly and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with floor staff to ensure quick drink delivery across dining areas.
• Navigate POS for swift order and payment processing.
• Prioritize timing; check in with guests and keep the vibe positive.
• Keep station clean and organized; maintain health department standards.
• Deliver accurate billing and swift payment processing.
• Communicate professionally with all team members.
• Partner with management to resolve guest feedback or operational challenges.
