Job summary

Little Words Project LLC in Short Hills, NJ is seeking a Key Holder to help lead the team and bring the brand story to life. You’ll support the Store Manager, guide guest interactions, and ensure a welcoming, inspiring space while helping guests pick the perfect bracelet and participate in bead-your-own experiences.

This role emphasizes teamwork, training Sales Associates, handling transactions, organizing events, and keeping the store visually appealing.

Qualifications

2+ years of retail or customer service experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for beading and styling.
Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the team alongside the Store Manager & Assistant Store Manager.
Open and close independently.
Host and manage in-store beading appointments, events, and parties.
Assist with planning in-store events and partner outreach.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with backstock, and help with visual merchandising.
Train and develop Sales Associates, sharing best practices to enhance guest connections.
Introduce new products and personalize recommendations.
Answer guest questions, assist with transactions, and handle in-store issues with positivity.
Assist at the bead bar and fulfill custom orders.
Support operations from inventory intake to clienteling and KPIs.
