Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Burr Ridge, IL is seeking a friendly Host to greet Guests, assist with reservations, seating, and escorting guests to their table. You will excel in hospitality, answer questions about menu and wine, coordinate with team, and maintain a smooth dining room flow to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must represent Cooper’s Hawk Values.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Thrives in a team-based environment.
• Has a passion for guest service and hospitality-focused.
• Ability to multi-task and work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet all Guests with hospitality and friendliness.
• Answer guest phone calls/inquiries with professional and informed skills.
• Educate Guests on food, wine, and facilities and escort to table.
• Supervise dining-room flow during service to maximize traffic.
• Manage special seating requests consistent with table availability.
• Assist Servers and Service Assistants as needed to maintain service.
• Complete side work during non-busy hours.
• Maintain professional relationships with Managers and Team Members for guest experience.
