Job summary

Improper Pig is seeking a confident Host to welcome guests and provide an attentive first impression. You will greet and seat guests, manage the wait list, and promote features and promotions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include delivering food to tables, maintaining clean dining areas, assisting with orders and payments, and supporting both front- and back-of-house teams during training and events.

Qualifications

• Willing to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Stamina for a minimum 6 hour shift.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Learner and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, especially first-time guests.
• Maintain a timely restaurant wait list.
• Communicate features and promotions.
• Deliver food to tables.
• Keep tables, dining room, and restrooms clean.
• Assist in taking orders and to-go guest payments when needed.
• Perform daily opening and closing duties.
• Communicate restaurant needs to managers.
• Support FOH and BOH teams.
• Participate in ongoing restaurant training and events.
