Job summary

The Breakers Palm Beach is seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to be the first and last impression of the restaurant. You will greet guests warmly, manage the waitlist, and provide seating options with a positive attitude while using guests' names accurately.

In this fast-paced role, you will stay informed about menu offerings, specials, and promotions, coordinate with servers and the kitchen, and handle cash and card transactions with care. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Seat guests in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and promotions.
• Handle waitlist and special requests with a positive attitude.
• Offer guests all available seating options.
• Stay abreast of floor plan information and seating rotation.

• Communicate effectively with the servers and kitchen staff.
