Job summary

Arlo, the signature restaurant at Town and Country Resort in San Diego, seeks a Host/Greeter who can set a welcoming tone and guide guests with warmth from the moment they arrive.

You’ll manage reservations, greet guests, seat guests, and liaise with servers to keep service smooth during busy periods. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, and a flexible schedule is required to cover evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with a warm, genuine greeting.
• Manage flow of guests entering the restaurant.
• Handle reservations, waitlists, seating assignments, and inquiries.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
• Communicate with servers and management to keep service smooth.
• Monitor table availability and balance seating.
• Answer phones and assist with questions about the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean, inviting host stand.
• Recognize returning guests and create memorable moments.
• Involve a manager for guest concerns.
• Support restaurant team as needed.
