Job summary

Avvio Millbury is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests and manage reservations, creating a warm first impression and smooth seating flow. You will handle phone inquiries, maintain a welcoming host stand, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

The role requires a warm personality, strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a professional presence to reflect the Avvio brand. Training begins in September for a new location opening soon.

Qualifications

• Prior hosting/front-desk/customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using reservation and waitlist software, or the ability to learn quickly.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with genuine warmth and set the tone for an exceptional dining experience from the very first moment.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow to keep the dining room running smoothly.
• Communicate table status and wait times clearly and honestly – with guest and with your team.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and care.
• Keep the host stand and entrance area clean, organized and welcoming throughout the shift.
