You’ll answer calls, manage reservations, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining a positive dining room flow. The role includes packaging takeout orders and processing payments, with opportunities to contribute to a high-volume restaurant team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience as a Host is preferred.
• Working knowledge of OpenTable and Point of Sale is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must handle high-volume restaurant pressure and guest incidents.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner as they arrive.
• Seat guests efficiently, manage seating chart and flow.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting list.
• Manage reservations using OpenTable.
• Answer calls and respond to guest inquiries courteously.
• Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders.
• Package orders carefully to prevent spills or damage.
• Process payments for takeout orders with various methods.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
